Services
I incorporate a diverse array of approaches and activities into my practise, depending on the needs and interests of my client. Below are some examples of my expertise and what I can offer.
Loss and Bereavement

Navigating loss, finding expression, and building resilience at every stage of life.
As a certified, trauma-informed loss and bereavement practitioner and wellbeing specialist, I support adults, children, and teenagers as they navigate the deeply personal journey of grief. Loss is not one-size-fits-all, it takes many forms that heavily impact our emotional development. Whether you or your child are grieving the death of a loved one, navigating the pain of divorce or romantic breakups, adjusting to a move or new school, or exploring a shift in personal identity, your experience is unique and your path to healing should be too.
In my core loss and bereavement practice, I provide a safe, trauma-sensitive space that combines evidence-based coping strategies with therapeutic talk, immersive roleplay, and nature-informed practices. For children, teens, and adults alike, processing profound change requires a gentle, regulated approach. Through dedicated talk therapy, we pace our conversations to safely voice complex feelings without overwhelming the nervous system. Roleplay allows younger clients to externalize internal conflicts and practice new boundaries in a supportive environment. By incorporating nature, we utilize the grounding, healing rhythms of the natural world to process transitions and gently rebuild a sense of self.
Nature Walk and Talk

In our hectic modern world, spending time in nature is more essential than ever, and our nearby green spaces and woodlands can prove a calming, safe space to talk about anything and everything. Being based in East Ayrshire, there are several possible locations to spend time outdoors, such as Dean Park (featuring some delightfully friendly donkeys), the Lainshaw Woods with the ambient babbling of the stream, or Eglinton Country Park, with its different branching paths that suit different mobility and accessibility needs. Going for a walk can make conversations and ideas feel more organic and flow more naturally, and sometimes walking side by side in a quiet, open space can soften the potential awkwardness or intensity that comes with unpacking difficult emotions.
Art

I integrate therapeutic art and creativity into my practice to help young people connect with their inner world when words aren’t enough. Our sessions are hands-on, exploratory, and tailored to unique sensory and emotional needs. Whether we are moulding tactile air-dry clay, exploring the world through photography, or experimenting with watercolours, art becomes a tool for self-discovery. Our creations can be completely freestyle, with only the imagination as the limit, or set to a theme, such as exploring the techniques of other artists, channelling the high-energy abstracts of Jackson Pollock or the rhythmic polka dots of Yayoi Kusama. Here, there is no “right” way to create, only a supportive space to heal, grow, and be yourself.
